Hi! I am Jake Shumate a Firefighter/Paramedic and I am here to help you be prepared for emergencies, have fun while learning, offer a relaxed teaching environment and get you your American Heart Association CPR Card. Have you been in an emergency situation that you did not know what to do? Have you had the pit in your stomach feeling when you saw a friend or family member get hurt and not know how to help? Are you in need of getting your CPR card up to date for your job? If you said yes to any of these situations we are here to help solve these problems. We offer the best CPR and First Aid training to help you be equip to know what to do in an emergency. We offer American Heart Association approved classes to fit your every need.

Did you know that not every CPR class is not created equal? We help you be successful by offering classes that are interactive, fun, entertaining, low stress and taught by an instructor who has over 15 years of real life experience. All of our classes are held at your location and at a time that works well for you. No set schedules here! We come with everything that is needed for class.

Meet Jake

CPR Adventure is run by me, Jake Shumate. CPR Adventure was started because I wanted to offer CPR and First Aid training that was based on real life experiences and would be a lot of fun to attend! Being a Firefighter/Paramedic for 15 years has been a lot of fun with opportunities to fight fire, do high and low angle rescues, fight wildland fires and much more. During my years on the job I have done CPR hundreds of times along with thousands of other emergencies. All of that experience comes to each class making if entertaining and real life. When I am not responding to 911 calls I love being with my three kids an amazing wife and one really cute dog. Along with being outdoors and messing with my VW Bus keep me entertained.

As a first time individual learning CPR the information proved by a hands on first responder was great, he was able to explains the reasons why CPR certification is important.
